There seems to be a small resurgence in column databases like KDB, just after I took down my K stuff. There has been a new version, K4, and work has begun on K5 (and this will reintroduce the free trial version). I'll see what can be done about getting something new up and posted online.

Another marathon down. This time in San Francisco. I ran the first half of the race with a friend and we did it in 2:01. I took of by myself for the second half through the hills of SF, and came in at 3:52. I'm fairly sure I can crack 3:45 in the next race that isn't as hard as the SF course.

I should really start collecting all my race results here instead of just the most recent.
